Top 500 Pitching Pop Up Prospects (2021)
There are a lot of great pitching prospects at the top of this list. Headlined by Gray Rod, Meyer, Greene, and Baz. But the Pop Up Prospects are in there too (using Fangraphs prospect lists from preseason 2021, for this comparison): Drew Rom ranked 29th on the BAL prospect list going into 2021; TBR and their never ending supply of arms had Bradley at 26th, Romero was at 40th, and Myers unranked and listed simply as a "depth arm" before 2021; Spencer Strider was 22nd on the ATL list going into the 2021 season; and Eury Perez was ranked 16th before 2021 with MIA. Remember these lists are entirely based on 2021 performance, adjusted for age-to-level, proximity to the big leagues, park, and divisional factors.
